Two feature requests
In June of 2021, I submitted a request for an enhancement that would allow an HOA to add "his email" or "her email" to a Group, rather than a whole family unit. As it stands now, since we can only add a family unit to a group, we can't use DirectorySpot efficiently for all our groups. For example, I don't want to create a Fantasy Football group, because I don't want to be cc'd on all the emails meant for my husband. And I can't create a Book Club group because my husband doesn't want to be cc'd on all the emails meant for me. I really hope this enhancement is still on the list for 2022...
ALSO - we don't have sponsors, but one thing our old (printed) directory had that folks loved was a list of local vendors recommended by neighbors. I thought I could use the "Sponsors" tab for this, but I hate calling it sponsors. I also hate that it requires an image. All I really want is to have a heading, like "Landscapers," and then be able to list multiple local providers and their website link and contact info under the heading. Since this request is similar to the existing "Sponsors" feature, I imagine it would be an easier request to implement, and I hope you will consider it soon. Thanks!!

Hi:
We have a brand new version of DirectorySpot coming out for HOA's and it has a structure that is based on a Household and then within each household, there are members. So this will solve your issues with the different groups and is a much better solution than creating labels for his email and her email etc. We are very excited about this launch and just putting the finishing touches on it. However, I would be happy to move your directory to the new platform now if you are interested?
Your second request for listing vendor recommendations on the sponsor tab could work, but you we don't have categories, so they would all be listed separately and then you would need to scroll through them to find the one you want. If you didn't have too many, this would wrok well. Another option would be to list them in the directory but then crate a group for “recommended vendors.”
I would be happy to set up a call to discuss either.
